Wayne Bertram Williams was born on May 27, 1958.
He was believed to have perpetrated the Atlanta Child Murders of 1979-1981. After being convicted of two murders, and sentenced to life imprisonment, authorities quickly closed 22 other unsolved murders, declaring Wayne Williams to have been the perpetrator of all. Williams has maintained his innocence and the case was eventually reopened in 2005. Was he quilty of all the unsolved murders or was he a convenient scape goat for authorities?
