17-year-old Vincent Rodriguez wounded two students at Martin Luther King, Jr. High School in Manhattan, with a semi-automatic pistol. He retaliated against the individuals who had harassed his girlfriend. In February 2003, Rodriguez was sentenced to ten years in prison on charges of assault and attempted assault.
