David Sneed was convicted, in 1986, of aggravated murder and aggravated robbery. He was sentenced to death for murdering Herbert Rowan in Canton, Ohio, on November 19. 1984. Sneed, and an accomplice, shot and robbed 26 year old Herbert Rowan, in 1984. After shooting Rowan a second time, Sneed and his accomplice then weighted the body and dumped it from a bridge into the Nimishillen Creek. David Sneed’s execution date is scheduled for April 19, 2023.
